Vinod Chopra - Forthcoming Films

Vinod is actively involved in the writing of the 5 films he will produce shortly.

'BROKEN HORSES' a mainstream Hollywood film: The screenplay is based on an original story by Chopra himself, and is the work of several award-winning writers including Abhijat Joshi (Lage Raho Munnabhai, Eklavya and 64 Squares) and consultants, Jason Richman (Bangkok Dangerous, Swing Vote), and legendary BAFTA winner and Academy Award® nominated screenwriter and executive producer, Nick Pileggi (Goodfellas, Casino and American Gangster).

Ram Madhavani's 'TALISMAAN' is a love story inspired by the epic novel, 'Chandrakanta,' written in 1892 by Babu Devkinandan Khatri, which inter-weaves and mixes intoxicating elements of magic and war.

Rajkumar Hirani's '3 IDIOTS,' which stars Aamir Khan (LAGAAN) and Kareena Kapoor, appearing together for the first time; and Hirani's next edition from the hit Munnabhai series 'MUNNABHAI CHALE AMERIKA.'

'FERRARI KI SAWAARI' by Rajesh Mapuskar, associate director and a longtime associate of Raju Hirani, will direct the heartwarming tale of how the pursuit of an Indian cricket legend's Ferrari makes a young boy's dreams of playing cricket at Lords a reality. Rajkumar Hirani will write the dialogue.

Vidhu Vinod ChopraIf watching an interesting looking drama involving quest for power, intrigue, greed and some family secrets tumbling from the closets were not good enough reasons to watch EKLAVYA - THE ROYAL GUARD then add on one more to the list!

Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra have just shot an exclusive teaser promo of the third in the series of MUNNABHAI/CIRCUIT escapades after MUNNABHAI MBBS and LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI and are all set to unleash it on the big screen during the screening of EKLAVYA - THE ROYAL GUARD.

Both Sanju and Arshad have already shot for the promo in their trademark attire and are shown trying to learn the English language. Reason? They are off to America and the basic pre-requisite for them is to be familiar with the language.

As per the grapevine, Munnabhai and Circuit meet none other than George Bush in this sequel and what follows from thereon is yet another laugh riot!
